Common questions
Do I need an account to create an invoice?
No. Guests can create, preview, and export invoices without signing up. An account is only needed for cloud sync, the dashboard, and optional extras like email or pay links.
Can InvoiceKit calculate VAT?
Yes. Set a VAT percentage on the invoice and InvoiceKit calculates VAT and the total from your line items automatically.
Can I download invoices as PDF?
Yes. The editor includes a live preview and supports high-quality PDF download and print-ready output.
Are email, reminders, and pay links required?
No. They are optional extras. Create and export PDFs without them. Email needs Resend; reminders need Resend plus an external daily HTTP call to the reminders endpoint; pay links use your own Stripe secret key in Settings.
